My tasks is: create and visualise theme ideas and producing a design by hand or using computer-aided, sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments adapting existing designs for mass production, developing patterns to be cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations and also managing marketing, finances and other business activities. Development prints, patterns, label, tags, metal, elaborate the color pallet for the season, supervise the photo shooting for catalogs, and much more.
Here some invitations postcard I made by hand because at this time we don’t have a computer!

After 11 years I was invited to be a fashion designer in another big company in Brazil named Vide Bula Jeanswear where I worked during 10 years, creating collections 3 times a year, traveling to Europe, USA and Asia searching for new trends and doing all functions as a fashion designer.

DTA FASHION INDUSTRY

10 years later I started working in another fashion company called DTA as a fashion designer, product development, visual merchandiser as well. I’m glad I saved some of my cards. I created the white and blue pattern and drew the clothes, I approved the prototype and supervised the photoshoot lookbook. Here I show you some clothes design and pattern I did.

My co-workers and I developed tags, jeans embroidery labels and everything else to create a wonderful fashion collection.
