Chroma key? I’ll show you my adventure.

No matter how old you are now. You are never too young or too old for success or going after what you want. Like I said before in another post, I am 57 years and a beginner blogger and photographer as well. I am learning everything and I do everything by myself. I take my own pictures, I edited them, and day by day I find another way to get better for me, of course! I am not a professional in photography, I am a fashion designer and artist and I have been work 32 years in the fashion business, so I am proud of me. Reinventing myself always! I was thinking how can I take my photos external photos as all the bloggers do. I did not try yet take external photos because it’s to much work from now, and I do not have anyone who can go with me to the streets and photograph me in my time, for this reason, all my photoshoot I did in my bedroom aka home photo studio. So I thought about trying to use a chroma key background and then remove the background from the photos and put another landscape behind AND I DID! I headed to a Goodwill near my house looking for a green bed sheet and I found it!  I came back to my house so happy and excited to put the green bed sheet as a background and start a photo session.

My first shoot with the green background

It will work? I hope so! It was very difficult to control the lights in front of me and behind. The green color was reflected on my skin…by in the end I think it was good for the first experience.

Here I take off the background

I have to admit that the cut was not very good, especially in my hair that is always the hardest part of being cropped in photos. I remember countless times I’ve been sitting next to the photo editors watching them correct the photos for my fashion catalogs. It was funny at that time I thought I would never be able to do such a thing because it required a lot of patience and I did not have much patience at all! To do this, I find online a photo editor the name GIMP, it is very nice and free! I watched some videos on Youtube to learn how they work. But I want more! I want to put another background is my pic. How can I do that? More videos and tutorials and here it goes!

Selfie at Prada store in Milano! lol!

Like I said: I am learning my friends. I know it’s not perfect but for sure I will continue doing until I got better. Take a look at another pic. Now I went to Tokyo!

I did too much airbrush on my face. I know! LOL!

So, that’s it, folks. I hope you like this post. I will always share my adventures with you guys because this is a mission of my blog. Remember, age is just a number! living and learning day by day!  I’m just having fun and sharing my experience! My post is not a tutorial ok? I know I need to study more and more but I could not wait to get better at chroma key so I decided to post now! Who cares?
