First thing: I like to be aware that I need to do my part to help our planet that is suffocated with so much garbage produced by high consumerism. Buying second-hand things, besides spending less money, I think re-using things is good for our lives. For this reason, I decided to build my blog, one space where I can share my thoughts about fashion, behavior, and art and express myself freely. I love reinventing myself, so here I am, on the road again!

I’m obsessed with fashion, thrift stores, flea markets and vintage.

Walking through one is like exploring a pandora box. You never know what you can find there, and I’m very lucky to find items that I can use or transform to keep my fashion style up to date because I love it! Another good thing is, to be able to mix pieces that you have in your closet with pieces that you have found and to create your own style or to update them visiting sites and blogs that speak about fashion and style like this one that you are reading now. Thank you for reading my post. I am open to answer any questions you may have, of course, if I can.

I will first explain some terms that are often confusing to everyone :

Thrifting: The act of shopping at a thrift store, flea market, garage sale, or a shop of a charitable organization, usually with the intent of finding interesting items at a cheap price (theblackkbeauty.wordpress.com)

Thrift store: a shop selling second-hand clothes and household goods, typically to raise funds for a Church or charity. (theblackkbeauty.wordpress.com)

Vintage clothes: Clothing & accessories are generally considered to be vintage when they are at least 20 years old. In the last year or so, many upscale vintage clothing houses are considering clothing, especially designer pieces, to be vintage if they are 10 years or older. Retro, short for retrospective, or “vintage style,” usually refers to clothing that imitates the style of a previous era.  (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vintage_clothing)

Second-Hand clothes: items previously owned or used by another. There are many stores that sell second-hand clothes and I will post some clothes here.
